Pre-trained learning filter
SpamWeed's refined Bayesian filter is very intelligent when it comes to tell which email is good and which is spam. As the spam filter is pre-trained, it works very effectively out-of-the-box. At the beginning, SpamWeed may make a few mistakes. If it blocks a good email, you can simply move it to "good mail box". By doing so, SpamWeed learns and improves future filtering. The refined algorithm makes the spam filter very sensitive to training and ususally after a few days' use, it can work completely to your satisfaction.

Sole Whitelist Mode
Some users are interested in only receiving emails from their whitelist contacts while blocking all other emails. By turning on "Only Receive Emails from Whitelisted Senders", SpamWeed allows you to do so.

Stops spam before being delivered to your inbox
SpamWeed is a POP3 proxy that works between your email server and email clients. It scans and analyzes all your incoming messages, delivering only good mail to your inbox while junk mail is left in SpamWeed Junk Mail folder. SpamWeed gives you back a clean inbox.

Protects against hazardous email viruses
SpamWeed identifies emails that contain viruses even if they are from your friends. It can successfully identify over 99% Email viruses and makes them unexecutable. The chances that your computer get infected by viruses are greatly lowered.

Support mutiple email clients
If you use more than one email client, no worry, SpamWeed can filter all of them for you. The filter works with almost all popular email clients such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Eudora, Incredimail. Even if you change your email client in the future, you can still use SpamWeed, as it supports all POP3 email clients.

The other day I got 109 e-mails and Spamweed only let through 7 - the rest were absolute junk and I didn't have to filter them or delete them or anything. I just check that stuff hasn't been filtered when it's legitimate, move it if it has and that's it. Fantastic, easy to use and intuitive. I never want to see another spam filter. Spamweed is the one for me!

I've just found SpamWeed. It appears to be the nearly perfect Spam Filter I've spent weeks looking for. It installs directly into Outlook Express. It automatically builds its White List. It really works. And I appreciate that SpamWeed puts its own toolbar up where it takes up the least amount of screen space.
